Our "Ally" Israel? "One million Arabs are not worth a Jewish fingernail"Rabbi Yaacov Perrin (NY Daily News, Feb. 28, 1994, p.6) Gould's most inflammatory allegation consists of blaming IQ testers for magnifying the toll of those lost in the Holocaust (p. 263). Here he has followed the lead of Leon Kamin's (1974) The Science and Politics of IQ. The Kamin-Gould thesis is that early IQ testers claimed their research proved that Jews as a group scored low on their tests and that this finding was then conveniently used to support passage of the restrictive Immigration Act of 1924 which then denied entry to hapless Jewish refugees in the 1930s. Gould goes so far as to claim (1996, pp. 195-198; 255-258) that Henry H. Goddard (in 1917) and Carl C. Brigham (in 1923) labeled four-fifths of Jewish immigrants as "feeble-minded ... morons".
At the 12th grade level, the US was one of the last ranking nations in TIMSS math, but at the 8th grade level our scores were in the mid-range in both math and science. The average score of the countries whose 8th graders participated in TIMSS math in 1995 was 513, compared to an average 1999 score of 508 for those countries whose 8th graders took TIMSS math in both 1995 and 1999. This 5 point decrease can be explained by the fact that the higher scoring countries like Switzerland, Austria, France, and Ireland, and Belgium didn't participate in the test in 1999. But the average score of all of the countries whose 8th graders took TIMSS math in 1999 was 487, which is 26 points lower than the average for 1995. Even with the addition of higher scoring countries like Taiwan, Finland, and Malaysia in 1999, the addition of countries like Chile, Indonesia, Jordan, Macedonia, Moldova, Morocco, the Philippines, Tunisia, and Turkey, all of whom scored well below 500, reduced the overall average TIMSS score. Also, where Singapore had scored 143 points higher than the US in 1995, they scored only 102 points higher in 1999, and where Romania had scored 18 points lower in 1995, they scored 30 points lower in 1999. Relative to the US, the higher scoring countries scored an average of 22 points lower in 1999 than they did in 1995, but the lower scoring countries scored an average of 2 points higher. In other words, most of the countries which scored lower than the US in 1999 were third world countries whose education systems consume very little national resources. But even lower scoring than the US was Israel, who scored 36 points lower than us in math and 47 points lower in science (466 and 468 respectively). Had it not been for all of these third world countries, Israel's 8th graders would have been almost dead last. This is a score which is closer to Morocco at the low end than it is to Singapore at the high end. They scored even lower than Cyprus, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania, and Thailand in math, and lower than Italy, Lithuania, Malaysia, Romania, and Thailand in science. They scored in the range of Indonesia, Iran, Macedonia, Tunisia, and Turkey in math, and in the range of Cyprus, Indonesia, Iran, Jordan, Macedonia, Moldova, Tunisia, and Turkey in science. It really puts these low scores in perspective to realize that Israel scored only 19 points higher than Macedonia, a war torn region with an average per capita income of only $1,000 per year. In other words, intellectually, Israel is a third world country, which explains a whole host of their problems, like their inability to get along with their neighbors in Palestine, their rejection of fundamental Christian principles, their disastrous attempts to organize societies and businesses, and the penchant for so many Christian cultures to expel them from their midst. It explains why they are so good at claiming victimhood, as with the Holocaust hoax, and their whining about the Spanish Inquisition, and their complaint that nobody likes them--they truly are victims. It explains why they identify so closely with black Americans and black South Africans--both races are in the same intellectual spectrum. It explains why they don't ever appear to understand Christianity--they really don't, and these scores suggest that they can't. It explains why they say such STUPID things as the following, which is a comment made about the Palestinian boy whose death in a hail of bullets was caught live on French cameras.
Only a moron would expect people to believe him. Are jews really morons? Are they really feeble-minded morons? Is US immigration policy geared around the presumption that jews are "feeble-minded morons"? S. J. Gould, in The Mismeasure of Man (1996), seems to think so! The following can be seen in its entirety at timssr.pdf
