The Committee on Public Affairs and Social Responsibility reviews and
monitors the Company's policies, practices and programs with respect
to public issues of importance to stockholders, the Company and the
general public, to the extent those matters are not the
responsibility of other committees of the Board. This committee met
four times in 2000. The members of the committee are: Jane Evans
