NPR *CENSORS* ScriptureFirst, this organization which depends on CHRISTIAN TAXPAYERS for it's *existence* CENSORED five Verses of Scripture which were posted with no comment, and then CLOSED the forum when it didn't like the TRUTH which was presented to counteract their LIES!! Countess, Ph.D. 6-10-4 On NPR and the dismissal of the Gentile Bob Edwards, host of Morning Edition. As I recall, Bob Edwards was a Gentile from Kentucky and hosted the National Public Radio show MORNING EDITION for many years until a few weeks ago. Prior to Morning Edition, he hosted the NPR afternoon show ALL THINGS CONSIDERED. It was this latter show to which I took my sons back around 1975 in downtown District of Columbia and we sat in the studio for 90 minutes watching the live presentation of this highly popular national program. At that time, ATC was co-hosted by Susan Stamberg and the news read by Dianne Dimont (both Jewish). This past week while vacationing on the Gulf Shore, I listened to Morning Edition to learn who had taken Bob Edwards' place and I heard Steve Insky (Jewish) as host. I assume that he is permanent. Saturday morning, NPR is hosted by Scott Simon (Jewish) (with frequent appearances by the Jewish commentator Daniel Shorr); the afternoon ATC is pegged to Robert Segal and Linda Wertheimer (both Jewish) [with occasional subs being Terry Gross (Jewish) and an occasional Gentile]; Sunday morning's show seems regularly led by a female Gentile whose name escapes me at the moment. When traveling, I always tune in NPR for news and commentary articles if for nothing else than the high quality of the presentations and the length of the piece. NPR truly has some enormous strengths. Yeah, and for a large part of history death was the penalty for believing in the wrong religion. Maybe we should revive that proud tradition too. After all, as far as this Jew is concerned, you, sir, are a godless goy!
(Fortunately, unlike you, I believe in the principles this nation was founded on. So, while I may not agree with what you believe, I shall defend to the death your right to believe it. HOWEVER, I shall also fight to the death any attempt to impose that belief on others!)

The ultimate answer to your question consists of two phrases, one in law and one in principle:
1) nor shall any state . . . deny to any person . . . the equal protection of the laws (14th Amendment).
2) We hold these truths to self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (Declaration of Independence).
Sometimes, the majority does NOT rule.

These books have a lot of great information on protecting your christian heritage, that were white and slaves. Most white people do not even want to talk about. What recourse do they have? I read that Jesus lived with people who studied in nature, where they felt they could walk alongside the angels of the “Earthly Mother," like the “Angel of Earth." Even if it’s examined for academic purposes, the Essene Gospel states: “Let us worship the Lord in her!" The Bible reports Jesus often taught in nature, e.g. by a lake. Research now shows the brain functions, grows and heals much better in nature. The Essenes felt the Heavenly Father’s “laws are engraved in the forehead of the Son of Man." Would they then think that which dements brains also blocks God? If foreheads work better in nature, what does teaching in classrooms do to them? To cultivate more propriety without doing what could result in impropriety, could the focus be on fully accepting all of one’s true and deepest nature?

If people don't like the fact that someone is gay because their religious beliefs dictate this...It does not give them the right to bully, embarass, harass, stalk, etc. Because it is abusive. Do the religious teachings teach people to practice nonabusive methods to communicate with people? As far as people not having rights...Why do people care if gay marriages are legal? It does not affect them. And if it bothers them, that much, ignore it...do not associate with them. You have the right to practice your religion.

First of all, I am gay and have southern ancenstry that fought the civil war. I believe that McDowell and a lot of other "teachers" may want to re-evaluate the civil war teachings. Because, most of the whites (around 70%) were brought to the colonies, from Europe, were in fact slaves--which slaves are you people referring to? They were Europes unwanted white people and they were brought to the colonies as many misnomers. I believe that McDowell was in the wrong for asking the girl to remove her belt because most people could care less whether or not a person is gay. Finally, I think that removing children from a classroom due to making inappropriate comments is a standard procedure. However, the school district may want to find an alternate method to restructure the children's thinking around hatred of gays.

When people continually focus on others as being sinful, bad and inappropriate, telling them they'll be punished for doing wrong, how does that affect most people physiologically? Does it increase physical responses associated with stress, anxiety or trauma? Does long-term stress or trauma dement people? So, does constantly reminding others they'll be punished for wrongdoing have the effect of dismantling their intellectual capacity? (In Harry Potter, prison guards are Dementors, who intensely impact the highly aware, brave-hearted hero. How much does that metaphor apply in real life?) How much does focusing on bad help people focus mostly on the good, which some people call God? Does it enable the good to flourish as much as possible? Don’t people who want to protect children (and adults) want scientific data to know who and what hurts their brains? Don’t they want to know who and what really serves the good the most?
