Nephesh Of 749 occurrences in the Holy Bible, nephesh appears as soul, life, souls or lives four fifths of the time, or 592 times, and as dead only 8 times. For the same Hebrew word to mean both life and death at the same time is impossible. Furthermore, the mental gymnastics required by KJV translators and concordances like Strong's to get one word to mean exactly the opposite in one writing demonstrates a severe lack of integrity, coupled with an incredible bias. What are these religious and language "experts" trying to hide from we peons, what is it about the Holy Bible that they think we can't grasp or endure, and how could they justify taking upon themselves the task of misleading billions of people? This question is easily answered when it's understood that the Hebrew word tame [Strong's #2930] from which the English word defile is translated is primarily a reference to racial impurity and would be better translated as mongrelization. Upon examining the context of the following Scripture it's clear that nephesh is NOT a reference to "the dead" or "a dead body", and that when accompanied by the word "defile" it's a reference to "defiled soul", "mongrel", or "mongrelization".Lev 19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD. Lev 22:4 What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him; Num 5:2 Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead: Num 6:11 And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and make an atonement for him, for that he sinned by the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day. Num 9:6 And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day: Num 9:7 And those men said unto him, We are defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of Israel? Num 9:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD. When these extreme biases of the KJV translators, jew controlled dictionaries, and concordances like Strong's are removed, this Scripture reads as follows: Lev 19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh of your body, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD. Lev 22:4 What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is a mongrel, or a man whose seed goeth from him; Num 5:2 Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is a mongrel: Num 6:11 And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and make an atonement for him, for that he sinned with a mongrel, and shall hallow his head that same day. Num 9:6 And there were certain men, whose souls were defiled [read: who were mongrels], that they could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day: Num 9:7 And those men said unto him, our souls are defiled [read: we are mongrels]: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of Israel? Num 9:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity have a defiled soul [read: are mongrels], or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD.
